I recently returned to Minnesota to celebrate my birthday back at home. I was determined to put my boat in the Mississippi River and restore some semblance of my former life. I had a couple of friends that have also been having their challenges as well in this economy. My friend Jim had lost his job in the end of January at the same time that I did. His wife Kathryn was holding down the financial fort while he was looking for his next job opportunity. As I made travel arrangements back to Minnesota... more
I Deserve a Break Today – Heading for McDonalds
I recently returned to Minnesota to celebrate my birthday back at home. I was determined to put my boat in the Mississippi River and restore some semblance of my former life. I had a couple of friends that have also been having their challenges as well in this economy. My friend Jim had lost his job in the end of January at the same time that I did. His wife Kathryn was holding down the financial fort while he was looking for his next job opportunity. I looked forward to the chance to catch up with my friends, listen to their job-hunting activities, and help motivate them to succeed in their job-search activities.... more

Don’t Be a Victim
I’m not quite sure how con artists and job scammers know when a person is unemployed and looking for work, but all of a sudden I began getting all sorts of email13181318s requesting me to accept the inheritance of some Sheik without any beneficiaries, or to manage financial transactions for some foreign company that is “beginning” to do business in the U.S. If you are currently job-hunting then you are undoubtedly getting these also.
